Clay man robbed outside of his business in Mysel

The West Virginia State Police is searching for a suspect who robbed a man in Clay County.
The victim, William B. Vineyard, 71, told authorities he was carrying a large sum of money as he leaving his business in Mysel on Thursday.
He said he was then approached outside of the Jesse Sez Restaurant/Bar by an unknown white male with a baseball bat.
The suspect struck the victim multiple times, causing injury to Vineyard's face, arm and shoulder, then stole the money and left the scene on foot.
Vineyard's grandson chased the suspect into the wood but stopped the chase when the suspect announced he had a gun.
The suspect is described as between 5'8 and 5'10, wearing dark jeans, a hooded sweat shirt and a mask.
