A head on vehicle crash on Friday results in three people being sent to the hospital in Harrison County.
The Harrison County Sheriff's Department responded to the accident south of Shinnston at 3:30 p.m. on Route 19 the Gypsy bridge.
A Chrysler and a Honda collided and then a Ford Mustang was sideswiped and a parked Chevy pickup truck was struck.
The drivers of the two vehicles had to be cut out of the wreckage.
The driver of the Chrysler was flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital, the passenger in the Chrysler and the driver of the Honda were transported to UHC by ambulance. There were no injuries reported in the Mustang.
The Sheriff's Department is handling the ongoing investigation. The names and conditions of those involved have yet to be released.
