A Harrison County woman has pleaded guilty to tax fraud in federal court.
Pamela S. Bailey, 54, of West Milford, entered a guilty plea to filing a false personal income tax return for 2011, understating her gross income which resulted in an unpaid tax due and owing of approximately $42,097.58.
Magistrate Judge John S. Kaull accepted the plea.
Bailey, who is free on bond pending sentencing scheduled for November 21, faces up to 3 years in prison.
This case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Robert H. McWilliams, Jr. and investigated by the Internal Revenue Service.
